Feature – Claire Elise Photography

In our last blog post, we talked about ideas to help with back to school organzation. For those of you with rising 12th graders, you’re also beginning to think about senior portraits. If you’re in the Atlanta area, we’d like to recommend our talented friend Claire EliseĀ Mandrycky.

Claire is an experienced photographer who recently graduated from Georgia State. Her photographs are quietly stunning, each embodying a sense of rustic peace and southern elegance. Luckily for stylish-minded moms (and students!), Claire will be offering senior portrait photography for high school graduates. Here’s the best thing about Claire…she’s not only a great photographer who truly knows what she’s doing, she’s also close in age to our graduating seniors. She remembers the feeling of being a 12th grader in front of a camera lens, so she relates easily to our kids and in turn they feel so comfortable with her.

Maybe you can guess that my business partner and I each have rising 12th graders and we’ve hired Claire to do their photos (the blonde cutie below is Denise’s son). Claire was kind enough to offer our Letterbox Press friends a terrific deal…her sitting fee is $100, but if you mention Letterbox Press, you’ll receive $25 off!

Claire’s offer includes a 1 hour photo session at location of your choosing, CD of 15 proofs to choose from, an 8″x12″ photo print (of artist’s choice), and a portrait planning consultation; pricing will include retouching and artistic enhancements as needed.

Make sure you take advantage of this offer before it expires on October 1!

Here are some examples of Claire Elise’s senior portraits. You can also see more of her portfolios at her website, claireelise.net, which shows the wide variety of her talent.

Most of all, don’t forget that summer is the best time to take photos while graduates are still glowing from their summer tans. šŸ˜‰

PS – Hats off to all our mom-friends who have seniors going off to college this year! Especially if it’s your baby (ours are!!), we wish you the best!
